Toongabbie Dance Centre, Company
Toongabbie Dance Centre was established in 1967 by the current owners, Barry & Shirley Wall.
It is a family based studio with daughters, Melinda and Kylie teaching dance full time together
with Melinda’s husband Ian.
The studio is fully air conditioned to ensure a comfortable atmosphere to learn and to improve dancing skills.
Over the years the teaching staff at the studio have trained many top champions both on the international, national and state dance scene.
Credits include: World Championship finalist, British finalists, World Championship representatives, Australian, South Pacific, National, National Capital, Australasian, and State Champions in NSW, Qld, and Vic.
Students from the studio regularly feature in the finals of all competitions on the dance circuit.
This is more a street or young person's style loosely related to Latin American dances such as Salsa, Mambo, Meringue and Lambada are included in this style.
It is a social, recreational style of dance so is not included in the competition programs.

There are five dances in this style, Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha, Paso Doble and Jive. The majority of these dances can be learnt in our weekly classes or the student may opt to take individual lessons to focus on the particular dance they wish to learn.
